"FALLS TO SIXTH PLACE.
"The Statistical Branch of the Imports and Exports Department states, in its monthly report on the trade of the Colony, that imports of merchandizo during the month of November amounted to a value of 855,110,372, an increase of two million dollars as compared with October. Although the November import was $1,000,000 less than the September, total, which was the highest figure for the year, the November return was nevertheless 85,580,007 in advance of the average monthly figures from April-October.
Exports failed to maintain the high figure for October, falling 84,524,538 to $42,000,003, as compared with an average monthly figure of 838,633,300.

Imports of Tuols registered the lowest figure for the year at $081,358, while exports showed little change at $171,000. Bituminous coal importe, fell from 62,308 tons (8836,807) to 23,083 tons (508,352), while frewood fell from 187,073 piculs (8185,810) to 137,034 piouls. (8191,188). The bulk of the coal. 18,730 tons (8313,948) came from Japan.

Hardware. imports increased from 8390,214 to 8423,637, and exports from $274,213 to $299,160, the highest figure for the year.

That the defendant had no case to answer, was the 'finding of Mr. Lindsell in the case in which an accountant-partner of the Kwong Cheong Loong Hing Kee firm was charged with enibezzzlement of about $34,000.
