Sport.
Week-end football matches were played under ideal weather conditions on Saturday with the result that some excellent games, were seen in all three divisions.
Bouth China, after their reverse at the hands of the Chinese Athletic Inst week, defeated St. Joseph's by five clear goals and, as a result, reinain, at the top of the league table.
Kowloon managed to hold the Borderers to a draw, while the Argylls wore surprisingly defeated by the Club de Recreio.
In the second division, Recreio were overwhelmingly defeated by the Navy, and the R.A.S.C., after seven sucoessive defents, scored their first win of the season at the expense of Ewo whom they bent by two goals to one,

Playing on their own ground, South China defeated St. Joseph' liy five goals to nil. The Saints were considerably weakened by the absence of Nirnay and Lim, but in fairness to all, should they have appeared, the Chinese would even have had very little difficulty in winning,

This match we played at Soo kumpoo and ended in a win for the Clab by the odd goal in three. From the commencement the game was fairly even, both teams visit- ing in turn. The Club opened their scoring through Bell who, from a goal kick, made a solo effort and set in a hard low drive which found the not.
After the interval, the Club at tacked strongly and from a nice centre from Alexander, Strange scored. The Gunners then tried hard to reduce the deficit and were soon awarded through Fredericks who eat in a fast drive that com. plotely beat the Club's goalkeeper.
