Prize-giving day at the Kowloon Junior School was attended by a Jarge gathering of parents of the pupils, and prior to the giving away of prizes by Mrs. R. M. Dysp on the gaily decorated school lawn, there was an excellent, conecru given by? the students. Practically the whole BRIGHT ENTERTAINMENT BY school took part in the concert, which, apparently, was as much. enjoyed by the little netors and actresses as their nudience.

Health. Dr. Minett, the School Medical Health Officer, made three inspections. She examined all the children who were suffering from various disabilities-teeth, sight, tonsils, etc., and the parents were informed, when it was necessary for * any child to have special treatment. Miss Dyer, the Games Mistrese, gives remedies during school hours, in co-operation with Dr. Minett, M.O.S. She weighed and measured the children at the beginning and end of term and reported favour- ably on their progresa,
Examinations.-Thirteen pupils were entered for the Preparatory Division of the Royal Drawing Society, held in Juno last, and all passed, 12 with honours. The So- ciety has awarded a special prize Ba Jonn Raply while Doreen Brown's free drawing was consider- ed interesting enough by the Royal Drawing Society to include in, their. book of illustrations.

General. We are still cramped for room. The Kindergarten room is now used for Assembly, Drill and Singing, and the babies have to move, with all their impediments every time it is so required. Mrs. Dyer han again given us a generous contribution to the prize fund and we all thank her most heartily, and. take this opportunity of saying how much we appreciate the interest she has always taken in the Kow- Ison Junior School. Our thanks acs also dus to Rev. J. Horace Johnston for the use of chairs, to the Kowloon Dock Company for the decorations, and to Mr. Jenner who superintends the work in per son.
