LEAGUE-DIVISION I.

ST. JOSEPH'S, BORDERERS.

The South Wales Borders, by their convincing defeat of the St. Joseph's College XI. on Saturday nt. Happy Valley ground, showed that they are to be seriously reckon. ed with in future in loent football history. After an ever struggle in the first half, the Borderers com pletely outplayed the Collegians in the wound portion of the game and energod victors by five goals to one. The military team were early on the attack, and Rocha, the Saints' goalie, was called to save on num. erous occasions and did some very useful work. The Borderers, how ever, did not have it all their own way, and in acvoral of the raida mindo by the College team, Lim Nget Yoon opened the score when he dashed both the Borderers' goalic and the ball into the net. The soldiers soon equalised through Daris shooting through a crowd of players in a melee in front of the Baints' goal.

POLICE CLUB.

2

The Club were unlucky in losing Lao points to the Police on Satur. day as they played as good a game as the Police and if they had the slightest luck, might have shared the points.

The teams were:---

Club de Recreio: Beltro; Silva Netto, Xavier; Barquee, A. Gosa Souza; B. Conno, Ward, Silva, Rochn and Santos,

Athletics: Chan Shik Pui; Leung Yuk Tong, Lai Yuk Tat; Ho Che Tin, Wong Sui Wah, Lum Yuk Ying: Mak Kwok Torg, Ho Ka Keung, Led Yor Sun, Suon Kam Shun and Leo Hung Ching.

DIVISION II,

R.A., SOUTH CHINA.

Playing on their own ground, the Gunners defeated the Chinese by two goals to one in a somewhat life- less game. The Chinese attacked from the start, and after forcing a cornor, succeeded in sending the ball into the net through Combay, the R.A. goalkeeper, who made a bad mistake in allowing the ball to bounce over his head. Despite this setback, the Gunnere attacked strongly, and after some good pass ing. Seal cqualised from close in Shortly afterwards Evans sent in a fast drive which hit the upright, and from the rebound, Seal gave his side the lead.
