The unus athletic sports meet ing of the South China Athletic Association was held at Caroline Hill yesterday in the presence of a large gathering of interested specta- | tors which included Sir Shou-son Chow, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. King, and many well-known Chinese ladies.
Keen rivalry was displayed by the competitors, which included many girls...
At the conclusion of the sports, Sir Shou-son Chow made a short speech in which he welcomed, on hehalf of the Association, Mr. and Mrs. King, the latter especially for so kindly consenting to distribute the prizes.
Ile congratulated the management of the Association for, making the meeting so successful..
In calling upon Mrs. King to pre- cent the prizes, Mr. Tsang Yiu Ting, Vice President of the Association, said that it was not his duty to speak, but as Mr. M. K. Lo, the President of the Association, could not come owing to a tonis. tourna scut, he had to do so..
