SECRETARY CHARGED.
£1,500 EMBEZZLED BY PURSER
Seventeen charges of fraud, utter- ing forged documents, and on- bezzlement involving £34,000 were brought against Robert James Hum- mond, who was described as gegre- tary and accountant of the Anchor Line (Henderson Bros., Ltd.), of St. Vincent Plico, Glasgow, when the Glasgow he appeared Sheriff's Court last month. The 23rd Dutch Industries Fair was hold at Utrecht in September. The number of participants amount- ed to 1,012 while some 100,000 buyers visited tho fair. In spite of the depression in world trade, con- siderable transactions were made.
