GOVERNMENT'S PLAN TO BE SUBMITTED TO PARLIAMENT.
Mr. Herbert Morrison, Minister of Transport, recently announced that the Government are to press on as rapidly as possible with their seheme for co-ordinating all the London passenger trallic aervices. The merger will involve a capitul of over £120,064,000.
The Government's proposal is to transfer the ownership and control of the London passenger services from the existing proprietors and controllers to a public statutory body analogous to the Contral Electricity Board.
