Among the most recent additions to the Science Museum, South Kensington, are a series of instru- ments ised by the late Lord Ray leigh. The bulk of the historic Apparatus escaped the fire last year at Lord Rayleigh's home at Terling, in Essex, and the instruments have been given by the present Lord Rayleigh into the permanent charge of the Museum, where they occupy six large exhibition cases..
