On making inquiries yesterday, our representative was told that the vessel will dock for repairs and bottom cleaning in the next few days after which she will be put into service, but although it is understood that the

new owners have received offers regarding the lease of wharves both in Hong Kong and Macao, nothing definite in this line has been decided upon yet...

Capt. A. J. N. Wood has been appointed to take charge, and some of the old crew will be retained. The times of sailing will be same as before, the Venezia leaving here at 8 a.m. and Macao at 2 p.m. daily with the exception of Sundays when excursions trips will be made.
