Spelter.

Spelter has ruled easier, the price showing a decline of 3/9d. for June and 6/34. for September na compared with our last report. With little or no improvement in demand on the part of consumers, buyers have displayed little interest, and prices have gradually declined consequent on further liquidation and a little bear selling. The with drawal of the support, which the market bad up to recently enjoyed has further contributed to the pre- vailing weakness. Reports from the Continent would seem to in- dicate that conditions, there also ore slightly easier, there being on the whole rather mere disposition on the part of holders to meet the demand, though it cannot be said that there is any pressure to effect substantial salca.
