BRITISH PICTURE AT THE
MAJESTIC.
last time to-day a First National The Majestic is showing for the British picture entitled Two Red Roses." It is based on the song of the same name which has enjoyed enormous success on the Continent. Robert Land, who directed the pic- ture, has transferred the story to the screen. Three famous Euro- pean etars appear in the leading roles, Liane Haid, Harry Halm and La Jana.
Liane Haid, a Viennese beauty of exceptional talent, takes the part of a young girl whose life is chang- cd through the superstition of a wealthy, young man.
Harry Halm, who has been seen in several European pictures showi terpreis the part of the young man, at the Majestic Theatre-lately,-in- whilst the daughter of the host is portrayed by La Jana, one of the ending lights on the continental stage and screen. The supporting cast. is composed of first class play- ers resulting in a moving picture that no cinema patron should miss.
Many light comedy touches are introduced to advantage without upsetting the continuous fascination of the romantic element. "Two Red Roses" is fragrant with the
its drama, fascinating in ita romance, luxurious in the beautiful. settings used for the background of a story that will grip the interest during every single moment the picture is on the screen.
