The match in the senior game, though interesting because it pro- vided an equal struggle, was de- void of brilliancy. The Navy were the heavier of the two sides, but the Chinese were, if anything. slightly speedier.. The sailors were. the first to draw blood, scoring the only goal of the first half. The Chinese came near to equalising on several occasions in the opening half, but they were slow in front of the goal and had to be content with being one goal in arrears before the

In this game, there was a great disparity between the sides. The University were strengthened by the inclusion of S. II. Wong who is one of the best forwards in the Colony. Roza Pereira was brilliant yes- terday, all his four goals being meritorious efforts. Lawrence, though reliable, appeared to wanting in speed in front of the goal. Zimmern is very slow and must learn to pass the leather sooner. Remedios was a tower of strength as was Maynard. Foraita was incliced to be erratic at times, but yesterday he had little to do and so one could not judge him properly.
The final score of 81 speaks for itself as far as the difference in the strength of the teams is concerned

Bowling performances were overshadowed by the batamen in the series of cricket matches which concluded to-day. turies by individual batsmen and other good scores were return- ed. Andrew Sandham's knock of 170 for Surrey was the outstand- ing performanée, and incidentally his County had the highest score in a single innings throughout the series of County fixtures proper.
Only one match was played to a finish, while another was drawn, and four of the County teams took the major points on the first innings scores.
