Nothing whatever will defect Him from His path- unpopularity, poverty, persecution, the threat of death will not for a moment turn Him from it. To ap hold the righteousness of God and man were to Him the aupreme aim of life, and He is entitled to occupy the place in men's hearts and minds which He claims simply because He did so.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.". Such a hunger and thirst as this is the way to satisfaction. It has been said that every desire is either focal or marginal in the mind. Desires which are merely marginal have little power, but those which are focal sway the whole of
