THE HEIYO MARU.
NEW FLAGSHIP FOR WEST
COAST FLEET.
OPEN FOR INSPECTION THIS AFTERNOON.
The Helyo Mare, another of the recently completed N.Y.K. liners, arrived in this port yesterday from Japan, and was moored to Buoy 43. Sha is the new flagship of the N.Y.K. Fleet to the west coast of South America. The other vessels on this run are the Anyo Maru, Rabuyo Maru, Giayo Maru and Bokujo Maru."
Having a gross tonnage of 9,500 tons, the Heigo Maru is 460 feet long and is equipped with Sulzer Diesel engines which give her a speed of 16 knots. The vessel has accommodation for forty-two first class passengers, 80' second and 500 third class passengers. Her public
