SOUTH CHINA WINS THE INTERNATIONAL CHARITY CUP.
R.A. LOSE TO SOMERSETS AT SOOKUNPOO,
CLUB DE RECREIO DEFEAT KOWLOON F.C.
By their victory over Scotland" in the final of the Sunday Herald International Charity Cup, South China become the holders for the first time. The game was played before a large crowd and in the second half of the game South China put on four goals. Kam Shun, scored four of the goals netted the other, coming from a penalty kick.・・

Playing on the Garrison ground a: Sookumpoo, the S. L.I. repeated their former success against the R.A. when they won by two clear Knapp returned to the goals. Suer.L.I team at right half, "while Bewley-Bull made a welcome re appearance in the team. The line Dut was as under.

CHARITY CUP FINAL. "
The final in the International Charity Cup Competition was play ed on the Hong Kong F.C. ground between teams representing Scot land and South China. There was good a large attendance. and a amount of excitement throughout the game. The locals scored once during the first half, but added four during the second half with out any reply from the Scots.
The line out was as follows:- Scotland: G. Rodger (H.K.F.C.); MeRelvie (Kowloon) and Oram (H.K. Polica); Gilchrist (HK I.C.). MeGreavy (H.K. Police) and MeBride (H.K.F.C.); Bell (H.K.F.C.), Sorbie ( Navy), Fraser (H.K. Police), Dr. Valen- and Scott tine, (H.K. Police) (H.K.F.C.).
South China: Chan Shek Pui; Li Ting Sang and Lai Yuk Tat: Ho Choi Ying, Wong Shui Wah and Lan Yuk Ying; Teo Kwai Shing, Lai Wai Koon, Wong Pak Chong, Suen Kum Shun and Ip Pak Wah, With the exception of Li Ting Sang and Ip Pak Wab (S.C.A.A.), the team was drawn from the Chinese Athletic A.A.
Referie: L. 2. B. A. Atkinson. South Chinn at once got into their stride but a timely clearance by McKelvie prevented danger. The first incident of note was a fine solo effort by 1p Pak Wah and Rodger did well to save the shot. After Home "keen play from a pass by Tso Kwai Shing, Suen opened the score beating Rodger with a fast shot from close range.
Scotland had hard luck in not drawing level. for Scott had Chan Shek Pui heaten but the shot hit the upright and was cleared.
The pace was very fast and for the rest of the first half, Scotland were defending.
KOWLOON F.C. ..CLUB DE RECREIO.
With McKelvic assisting Scotland in the Charity game, Kowloon went down to the Club de Recreio on the Railway ground in their league game hy the odd goal in three. The line out was der.

The game opened with Kowloon attacking but errors in shooting prevented any score. A breakaway by the visitors found Rocha well swung placed when Consalves across and Rocha opened the scare the Recreio. Kowloon then for went out to level up but the Rea defener was sound.

Kowloon again put on pressuTE in the opening minutes of the se cond half, but Silva-Netto and Souza played very safe. A rush by the Reus gavo Ward an opening and he pushed forward for Tocha to go in and give Angus no chance from close range

Playing on the Chinese Athletic ground at Happy Valley, Ewo de fented the H..F.C. Reserves by the only goal scored.

There were seven matches on Saturday, but of these only two were league games. In the senior division Civil Servies Cricket. Clab. did well to secure full points from the Cricket Club while the Indians brought off creditable win over the Police Recreation Club in the junior section.

A reshuffling of Scotland's team for the second half appeared to weaken their defence. South China wore soon attacking and after Wong Pak Chong had hit the bar with a fast abot, Suen Kun Shun netted giv ing Rodger no chance,
Suen was & dangerous forward and from a pass by Ip Pak Wah he completed his hat trick with a shot that left Rodger standing.
A penalty to South China was taken by Lam Yuk Ying. Rodger stopped the shot from the spot kick but before he could recover, Lam dashed up and sent the ball into the net.
Scotland were trying hard to re- duce the deficit against them but failed to register. Before the final whistle sounded Suen again beat Rodger, making his fourth goal
of the match.
