The trade of Hong Kong and the prospects for British manufacturers are the subject of an interesting article in "The Times Trade and $TÉS Engineering Supplement." writer, a correspondent on the spot, states that civil war in the neigh bouring provinces and the fall in the price of silver have had the effect of restricting operations by importers, but in some directions there are great possibilities.
