increase £40,000,000 compared with last
year.

Fifteen million pounds of the increase is attributable to local Government and the Derating Acts, and will be met out of the Rating Relief Suspense Account, which is at present £20,000,000.
The remaining £23,000,000 will be met from revenue for which new taxation is regarded to be inevit
