INDIANS DRAW WITH NAVY.

Most teams in the leagues were having a lay-off on Saturday, and only one game was decided in each division. The Indian Recreation Club played a drawn game with the Navy at Sookumpoo, while in the junior section the Police RC, lad matters their own way with the R.A.S.C. The match between the Recreio and the Artillery was called off at the eleventh hour, as the Gunners could not raise a side.

LEAGUE-DIVISION 1.

1.R.C. r. ROYAL NAVY,

The wicket was on the slow side when Wright and Stanley started for the sailors at Sookuspoo, and for the first half-an-hour, the scor ing was slow. Then Stephenson and Wright adopted more aggres sive methods and and they had 134 runs for the loss of 8 wickets when' the Navy skipper declared the in- nings closed.

The light was very poor when the Indians started and with the home team batsmen trying to force the pace, the first few wickets fell rapidly. Then Doodha played a gallant knock, and hitting at every». thing collected 41. in very quick time. For the Indians, A. R. Minu tock 4 Wickets for 37 runs, while Boumphrey was the most successT | ful of the sailors and had five for
