GOALS TO ONE.
The game on the Club ground scheduled as an Interport Trial game was
Wynne, a poor one. Rodger, Butcher and A. V. Gosano were absent from the selected team and only ten men lined up for the them when the game started.
Ward and Gill turned out in place of Butcher and A. V. Gosano while Wyatt (Royal Navy) was in goal in place of Rodger.
With only one back against them, the Navy did most of the attacking but shooting was wild. At the interval the Royal Navy were lead- ing by a goal to, nil. Hassell seat in a fast erose shot and Reeves in attempting to clear with a beader, þturned the ball into the goal giving
