Reuter adds that Mr. Henderson admitted that the Soviet Reply described the representation made to them as unjustifiable interfer- ence and as an unfriendly act on the part of the British Govern- ment, but he did not answer a Con- servative member' question as to whether that was the sort of reply to be expected from a friendly na- tion.
