ROAD EDUCATION.

There appears to be an intensive campaign afoot, says a contributor to Motor Cycling, to reduce the number of accidents which occur daily in the large provincial towns. There is talk of educating the pedes trian and more talk about educent ing the motorist. It seems to be the fashion, now-a-days, in some quir- ters to denounce the motorcycle as vehicle 6t only for lunatics (or (heroes) to ride, and to blame the

machine and rider for the majority- of road accidents of which they are the victims.

It is too frequently forgotten that driving, motorcycle is the finest piece of road education a man or woman can have, since it calls for the application of all the simple exercises "in driving which will equip them for the more difficult tank of controlling the motorcar. If every driver had been a cyclist

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will for the first time in history take sound pictures in the African jungle. In fact, the primary purpose of the trips is to reproduce in colour and in sound all of the life of the jungle, a record which will be in- valuabe to scientists,
