CHICKEN FEATHERS.
Three Chinese were charged with entering a store in Canton Road and stealing 3 pounds of chicken feathers valued at $30. Two of the defendants pleaded not guilty, and were discharged after evidence had been taken.
The defendants were arrested following a raid at another house in Canton Road where the feathers were found. The third man, whe had a previous conviction for un- lawful possession recorded against him, was sentenced to four months' hard labour.
