Acting on information supplied by the Treasury Department a strong posse of police raided a house in Honam Island, which has been occupied for thirty years by a very respectable branch of the Chui family, Chui Ming. Chow, the present householder being a well- known artist. After a close search of over two hours the police dis- covered a small secret room, where paraphernalia for forging bank notes and completed forgeries re presenting over $100,000 were dis covered, 828,000 being Central Bank of Chins notes imitations. Chui Ming Chow, his wife, concubine, a son and an amab were arrested and detained pending their trial. the afternoon of the same day a man named Mak, said.. to be con neeted with the case, was arrested.
