Gentlemen:-In view of the dis. quieting news concerning military movements reported in the local newspapers, during the past few daya I feel it my duty to address this appeal to you for your most sympathetic consideration.
As many parts of the country are devastated by famine ravages, the sufferings which will befnil the people with the outbreak of another internal war are inconceivalse, and it is almost certain the destiny of the Chinese Republic will be jeopardised.
