The visitors brought over a good number of supporters and no doubt more would have been there if the Interport Bowls game had not been at the K.C.C. The Somersets were quite unable to get going in the second half and South China added goals through Chiu Kwok Leung and Ng Po Kiu. The South China team played nippy football, but did not appear to be putting themselves out. The visitors were not impressive.

Saturday proved a 'disappointing day for ball fans who went to the Navy Field, Caroline Hill, in the hope of seeing the Baseball Club turn the tables on the Chinese,” thus making the fight for the season's honours more lateresting.
