AN OLD FAVOURITE RETURNS TO THE FAVOURS OF MADAME LA MODE,
The last few seasons have been many materials which had been de- finitely out" for a long time, return to favour. The latest of
these is moiré which, however, never quite disappeared. Moire was te vived a couple of winter's ago when picture frocks first made their ap pearance but it was quickly ousted by faille. Now it has come back strongly both for afternoon and evening wear, and is iminensely suitable to the graceful yet rather severe style of the latest fashions.
The new moiré has a satin back and in consequence drapes softly and beautifully. If you want to see how lovely and gracious a material it can be have a look at the new collection being shown just now at Lane's Crawford's,
