ELECTRICS: Large parcels changed hands during the week at rates varying beźween 888.78 and 100. I think at least a couple of thousand shares must have changed hands at the latter figure. There are seller's at the moment at $53.50 and buyers at $38.95. I would not be surprised to see a slight im- provement take place shortly.

CEMENTS are fairly firm at $8.75. Shares changed bands during the week at $8.75 and 8.80.

RAUBS have improved since the dividend was paid recently to a buying rate of $8,50 (Straita cur.
