Fire on H.M.8. Moth. fire broke out in the engine room of H.M.S. Moth on Saturday morning, while she was moored in the Naval Yard Basin. Big clouds of smoke rose from the engine room from a quantity of cotton waste which had caught light, but prompt measures put the fire out before any damage was doar.

The following vessels brought Asiatic deck passengers to Colony during the week-end ending at 9 a.m. yesterday :-

They were heard by the office coolie, who raised an alarm All exits were barred and two of the three men arrested. The other making good his escape. An attache case was found in possession of one of the men arrested, and the robbers took all the electric fittings which, they could lay bands on.
