THEFT FROM HONG KHENG. Antung, for Swalow.
A Chinese, who had a previous conviction against him, was tenced to three months' hard labour by Mr. T. S. Whyte Smith at Kow- loon Magistracy on Saturday for the theft of three drums valued at 810 each from the 1s. Hong Kheng. Mr. T. D. Ronie, Chief Engineer, told his Worship that they did not know the drums were stolen until they were out of port.

The following notification to Mariners bas, been issued at the Harbour Office-"Under authority of the Merchant Shipping Ordi- nance No. 10 of 1800, Section 30. rub-section 15, vessels are prohibited from mooring to that part of the South Sea Wall east of the Sanitary Dumping
Station in Faumati Typhoon Shelter.
To that part of the Southern Sea 4,450 4,800 Wall West of the Sanitary Dumping Station, vessels are allowed to moor in single line only."
