INDIAN WATCHMAN'S CURIOUS STORY.
An Indian watchman employed at the Nam Hing Knitting Factory charged a Chinese watchman with theft of #15. The defendant plead ed not guilty, Sub-Inspector Fender, who prosecuted. said that the" com- plainant had missed the money from the pecket of his cont on returning from his bath. The coat had been left in the charge of the defendant, but the latter denied the theft.
