Nerve - Strength
in hot climates
"I am stronger than ever before," "zérote a Sanatogen user, after having taken this preparation for a time.
A hot climate has made many a man a nervous. wreck. Remember, however, that you can be strong and full of energy, if you take Sanatogen regularly.

"No war credits."
This was the decision of the In- dependent Labour Party, carried by 161 votes to 125, at the annual,
conference at Carlisle.
Mr. Emanuel Shinwell, M.P., who was Secretary for Mines in the Socialist Government, at once ex- plained what it meant..
"There should be no hypocrisy about it." exclaimed Mr. Shinwell. "It means that if a Labour Gov. ernment should come into power in May we shall have to vote definitely against war credits. It means that we should submit no Army, Navy, or Air Force estimates,”
Mr. Shinwell, who was against the resolution, declared frankly that he would take his instructions from his constituents, and not from the conference.

Mr. Maxton Alarmed. Mr. James Maxton, M.P., the chairman of the party and of the conference, appeared to be alarmed at the possible consequences of the resolution.
"This is a very serious decision," he mid, after the vote had been taken, and he added alterwards; "I were to come to the next conference and tell you we bad only half a dozen LLP. members of Parliament left, and that they were out of the National Labour Party, would you call it courage or folly
The conference also passed a resolution declaring that if the Socialist Party came into power the Cabinet should be selected by the party in Parliament. The appoint ine of the Prime Minister by the party was cut out of the resolution. Mr. Maxton left the chair and vigorously supported the resolution. At present," he "said, "the King sends for one man, and that one man will choose our working class Cabinet, which means to say that the King chooses the Cabinet. That seems to be rather ridiculous for a revolutionary movement.
After the general election, the Parlamentary Party should elect its leader. No man selecting a Cabinet is capable of doing that without consultation."
Mr. Shiawell interrupted, point ing out that in point of practice there was consultation.
Petrol In Bulk.» The following statement. has been made by the Air Ministry." Cer- tain irregularities at Henlow Aero- drome have been for some time the subject of investigation by the RAF authorities, with the result that the matter is now in the bands of Scotland-yard, whose investiga- tions are not yet completed
The last report of the Auditor- General on the air services as counts revealed a disturbing state of affairs. A court of inquiry found that there had been thefts of petrol in bulk by Air Force per- sonnel.
Petty thefts, such as the filling of private curs, had been pre valent; artificial surpluses had been created by letting petrol run back when aircraft were being filled; airmen had signed for more petrol than they received; and there had been theft by milking" aircraft in tight ebeds.

HUSBAND'S SUGGESTION TO a
A MAGISTRATE.
EMOTION OF A WIFE Should there be trial separationsbüt when young married couples dis- agree i
The Tottenham Bench recently de- cided to try the experiment, and granted a young wife a separation Da trial for three months.
Further support was given to the idea by a husband, Stanley William Harris, of Benthamn-road, South Hackney, when he was summoned at the North London Police Court for alleged persistent cruelty to his wile.
The wife said that they were mar- ried nearly two years ago, and had no family. Her husband gave her a black eye last month.
The Golden Text was "The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow; the way of the wicked he turneth upside down" (Psalms 146: 9).
Among the citations which com- prised the Lesson-Sermon was the following from the Bible: "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. 1 have bloated out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins return unto me; for I have redeemed thee" (Isa, 44: 6, 29). "
The Lesson-Sermon also includ ed the following passages from the Christian Science. textbook, "Science and Health with Key to "Ho Likes to Go Out Alone,”
the Scriptures," by Mary Baker "He always ikes to go out Eddy: “The destruction of sin is alone," she added. When I said the divine method of pardon. that I wanted to go out with him, Divine Life destroys death Truth he replied, If we always go out destroys error, and Love destroys together people will take us for hate. Being destroyed, sin needs Siamese twins! I cannot live no other form of forgiveness. Does with him any longer.” ***"
