During the 24 hours ended at az yesterday the returns to the Harbour Umos of cargo carried by vessels arriving in Hong Kong were a follows:-

MARINE COURT CASES.
Chan Mui, the mistress of a 'cargo boat was summoned for "mooring her boat within 150 feet of the Government Slipway Pier, Yaumati Typhoon Shelter, on the 1st inst. She was further charged with fail. ing to stop when called upon to do so by the police. On ascused pleading guilty she was fined $10 or 10 days on each count. Should the fines be not paid the sentences are to run concurrently.
Two Chinese coxswains were sum- moned to breaking the rule of the fair way. Both pleaded guilty and the 1st defendant who had two similar convictions against him was fined $15 or two weeks, while the second accused who had one pr rious conviction of a similar nature against him was fined $10 with the alternative of "10 days."
