Before calling on Mrs. Ko sik Wai, wife of a secretary of the Chinese Y.M.C.A. and physical director of Ying Wa College, to distribute the prizes, the Rev. Cheung Chuk Ling, pastor of the Church of Christ in China, in his capacity as President of the meet- ing said, in the course of a brief speech, that this was the first sports meeting held by the College ainee it moved from the Hong Kong side to Kowloon and that Ying Wa to- day, through the able administra tion of its principal, Mr. Richard Shim, B.A., and his assistants, bad an enrolment, never before exceeded in the history of the college.

After the distribution of prizes by Mrs. Ko, the vice-principal, Mr. Shim took the opportunity to thank the South China Athletic As sociation for the use of the ground and the many friends, especially the Sun Company, for the donation of valuable prizes. The large challenge cup for inter-class com petition was the gift of the Sun Company.
