DREDGING WITHOUT A
PERMIT.
The mistress of a fishing boat was before Conidr. J. B. Newill, DS.O., R.N., at the Marine Court yester- day for using grapplings for the purpose of dredging and lifting articles from the bed of the harbour in the Southern Naval Anchorage on April 3. When questioned what she was doing with the grappling she said that she was only passing the anchorage. The rope that the officer saw hanging overboard was thrown into the sea by a child who was at the time on the junk.
She was fined $3.5
