Manila (U.P.)-Marquis Masno Bachisuki, Japanese scientist has returned to Manila from a scien- !* tific expedition to Mount Apo, in Davao, bringing with him a speci-j men of the giant swallow, one of the rarest birds known to science.
The Marquis said the giant swallow is most difficult to capture and in flight attains a speed of 120 miles an hour. He also obtained specimens of many other rare birds and plants.
