MARINE COURT CASES.

Two mistresses of cargo bosta were before Commander G, F. Hole at the Marine Court yesterday morning for making fast to the 9.8. Walshing whilst under way in the Southern fairway. Lance Ser geant Goldsmith prosecuted and both defendants pleaded guilty. They were fined' 810 each with the alternative of 10 days' hard labour. A Chinese boatman was summon- ed for failing to take out a license for his boat and for not exhibiting the regulation lights whilst under way at night. Lance Sergeant Me Bobbie prosecuted and the defen dant admitted both offences. He was fined $ or one weekeim prisonment on the first summons and 810 or 10 days' hard labour on the second offence. In default of the fines not being paid the sentences were to run consecutive ly.
