Thirteen arrivals and fifteen de- partures were shown during the 24 bours ended at 9 am. yesterday and cargo returns were fairly good Local imports showed a slight im provement, but through freights were only about average. Siz British arrivals and departures were shown, but the contributions to the cargo returna were smali.
Ten vessels discharged 11,807 tons of general merchandise for this port of which 1,799 tons were from three British skips. The two best at returns ware from the s.s. Taise Maru (Japanese) from Kobe and Miiko with 3,352 tons of coal; and the as. Daviken (Norwegian) from Bangkok and Hoihow with 3,150 tons of rive and general cargo.
