CANTON COTTON YARN TRADE.
A. cable from Shanghai of the 25th instant stated that the cotton yarn market "was a little firmer than
on Monday. The Canton Market was still very dull and no large transactions were done. After receiving the Shanghai tele KTAM, quotations were a little Armer.

According to the Gaaka Mainichi, Japan's export trade of cotton yarn and cloth for this year so far has been very satisfactory as com- pared with last year, notwithstand- ing the fact that the trade has been retarded for the time being singe May on
