The case against the owners and maater of the 21. Chuen Chow of the Macaq run, was again before Commander J. B. Newill, D.S.O.. R.N., at the Harbour Office yester- day morning. The owner was found responsible for the overload- ing of the vessel and was fined 8100, but the summons against the master, Captain Thomas Jones was dismissed. The B.3.1 Wong Set Kung (Chinese) Captain Harring, which was pirated several hours after leaving Hong Kong on Monday for Saigon, and which subsequent- ly returned after the pirates had plundered the cargo, sailed yester- day afternoon at 8 pm. for Saigon. This time the vessel carried 130 tons of general merchandise, but her entire Cantonese crew were taken into custody by the. Police. The vessel is owned by Messrs. Kang Wo & Company, and not as stated by Messrs. Wo Fat Shing & Company.

Cliffside Ship. ping Co., Ltd. of Newcastleon. Tyne. She was engined to 380 N.H.P. by Messrs. Richardson West- | "TALMA.” garth & Co., Ltd, of Sunderland •"THESILLIAN" and has a speed of 10 knots. The vessel was taken over by the Tyne side Lize (Messrs. J. Ridley Son and Tully Lta.. mgrs) and renamed the Newton Pine.
Her tonnage is 9,548 nett and 4,212 gross. The ship's dimensions are:-Length 363 feet, Beam 31.5 feet and Depth 25.1 fect. The vessel arrived from Cardiff and Calcutta with a cargo of coal. Messrs.
