STRANGE AFFAIR ON AMERICAN STEAMER.
The master of the as President Lincoin, which arrived here on Saturday and sailed yesterday, 're- ports under the casualty beading as follows: "Shak Tai, No. 2 Butcher, Suicide, C. D. Wells, seaman, died injuries." The report indicates a suicide following another depth from injuries and it appears that the Chinesa cook attacked the sea-
