Yesterday'a Figures. The cargo returns for the 21 hours ending at: 9 a.m. yesterday. showed a heavy decrease for local Importa; while through freights re- gistered an increase of over 8,000 tons. Eighteen arrivals and fifteen departures were shown, of which seven arrivals and four departures were British. Local imports dis- charged from fifteen vessels amount. ed to 10,710 tons of which 8,111 tons were contributed by seven British vessels. The best return was from the s.s. Tleboet (Dutch), from Batavia and Balik Papan, with 2,813 tons of general merchandise. The 8.5 Chong Shing (British) discharged 1,95 tons from Tientsin and Weihaiwei. Nine vessels car ried 18,489 tons of through freights of which four were British vessels carrying a total of 2,070 tons. The 5.3. Falon (French) arriving from Dunkirk and Saigon carried the heaviest cargo of 3,803 tons. ss. Thileboet took second place with 5,310 ton.
