A telegram from Shanghai dated November 13th states that stocks of Chinese yarn are scared. and mills are working day and night.
Quotations for fine yarn have increased by about 1 taals per baie. In Canton all descrip- tions of cotton yarn arc also scarce, especially fine yarns. Buyers are many, and prices are rising..
