Japan, third on the list, supplies China with $1,000,000 worth these goods annually. was unable to get into the house of the Poo On Chinese Herbs Com- pany, without help. After taking the herba in the neighbourhood of two weeks, I threw away my erutcher and now I am able to walk naturally. My wrists are free from all swelling and stiffness and all pais has left me. I sleep well every night and eat everything I want. I go anywhere and can walk one or two miles a day with- out distress or difficulty. My only complaint is that I cannot chew because my teeth are all gone. I cat things I am able to without my teeth and everything digests fine. My case seemed so impossible and so many doctors had given me up. I certainly feel that the Poo On Chinese Herbs have done wonders for me. I cannot say enough to praise them.

AMERICAN DIVORCE LAW.

VIEWS OF THE CLERGY.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 17th.

A special commission of the Episcopal Church, which has been investigating the divorce evil in the United States, to-day submitted a report in which it failed to recom- wenda change in divorce laws of the church.

The commission said that the major reasons for the current in- " crease in divorce are:-

Breakdown of home life in the United States.

Hasty marriages, undertaken without adequate consideration of the gravity of the step or the suit- ability of the parties.

Sex tension, due to a variety of causes inherent in present-day ex istence.

Läck of practical training for marriage.

Crowded conditions in the cities, causing too proximity of all mem- bers of the family and a conse- quent tendency to development of

nerves"

Since virtually all these factors are at present beyond the scope ole the church, being caused by far- reaching changes in society due la large part to industralism and economic changes, no solution for then could be found by the com- I mission, it was said."
