City of Adelaide, Nov, 17th. yesterday the general cargo returnsity of Chester, Nov. 4th, were not very high. Local imports remained good, but through freights were low. There were six British arrival, and nine departures, but British contributions to the cargo returns were only air.

Sixteen vessels discharged 19,463 tons of general merchandise for this port of which 5,485 tons were con- tributed by three British vessels. The best two returns were shown by the s.3. Pronto (Norwegian) Peracun, November 12th. from Port Kamfa with 2700 tons Manalaus, Nov. 13th.
