GOLF NOTES.

R.H.K. GOLF CLUB.

[BY R.HH.]

The Laterport golf match is now' a thing of the past, but the aérival of our team on Saturday serves sa an excellent excuse to turn back to it again. That our greatly de pleted team was well beaten by 9 matches to one is a fact known by everyone who feels nay interest in the matter, but there is still plenty of interest to be gained from the comments of the players who were fortunate enough to go up to "Shanghai. The margins by which

most of the games were

won

were frankly rather large, but "Shanghai had to fight all the way and many of the matches were much closer that would appear from the final result.

The Shanghai six were just a little too good for us a round; but

He played superbly too in the four some in which Ferguson and he beat Budd and Binko, and on the day was better than any of the other three, all of whom were in clined to be a little wild in their long game.
