The formal opening of the Willard Straight Science Fail of Lingaan Laiversity took place on Friday at the University with imposing ceremony. Scientific workers, both foreigners and Chi- nese, from all parts of China were present and a number of. papers were read. The Kwangtung and. Kwangsi Provincial Governments were both represented at the General Meeting held at 9 o'clock in the afternoon in Swasey Hall.
