The death of Dr. Alice Hickling in the Peak Hospital early on Saturday morning came as a great shock to a very large circle of friends and is a serious loss to the Colony-

Dr. Hickling had been ill for some time past and although it was not expected that she would regain complete health and strength, she had been out and about during re cent weeks. The end came sudden ly after two or three days in hos pital. Dr. Hickling only returned from Home lears last year.
