Attention is now concentrated on ROYAL HONG KONG GOLF the forthcoming Exhibition Matches

to be played at the Chinese Recrea tion Club at home on "Satur day the ad inst. The matches will be between the winners of the three divisions and teams from the Best" in each League respec- tively.

In view of the success of the Chinese Recreation Club who have already won the "A" and "B," and in all probability will win the "C" also, the Selection Committee of the Hong Kong Lawn Tennis Association have made up their minds to pick the very best players from each division to match the Chinese.

In former years the object was 'to get a "representative side," but that detracted from the interest of these exhibition matches and meant. that several of the best players Past records show were left out. that the League: Winners with one of two exceptions, have always 'come off successful in the Exhibi- tion Matches,

Players of experience will datur- ally sympathise with the Selectionley Committee in their efforts to pick the best man, and it is no easy instter. Their decision, however, ig welcomed generally and it is hoped that in future seasons, the same policy will be adopted. The Chi- nese Recreation Club would, no "doubt, welcome it, as it is known that they want to meet the best talent among their opponents.

Principal interest will centre, of course, on the "A" Division matches Fine play is expected and in all probability, it will reach a high standard. Among the Rest are E. C. Fincher, T. Honda, McEachran, L. Hale, H. D. Eum jha, R. E. Tottenham, T. Aki yama, Rey. F. P. W. Alexander, S. E. Green and S. A. Rumjahn.
