KOWLOON CLUBS BEATEN BY TWO DOCKS.

TAIKOO SECURE A "DOUBLE": YACHTSMEN WIN.

SATURDAY'S RESULTS.

The lawn bowls League matches were all completed on Saturday with occasional interruptions by drizzling rain. Clubs on the Hong Kong side had a larger share of delays, and with the exception of the East Point Recreation Club, all the ground teams won their matches. Senior and junior teams of the two Kowloon neighbours were both beaten. Kowloon Docks beat the Kowloon C.C., and Taikoo accounted for the Bowling Green Club by comfortable margins. In both cases the home rink, wäre beater. Taikoo secured "double" by their junior string gaining the verdict at home against the Kowloon C.C.

A close games in the junior division was that on the Yacht Club ground where one wink succeeded in tilting the scale in their favour by two shots against the Bowling Green Club. This was the Yachtsmen's second win and a well-deserved one consider-" ing that the visitors were much the stronger side. Civil Service, as expected, won by a large margin secured an two rinks. Recreio "B" team suffered a heavy defeat at Craigengower,.. and as the visitors ädmitted, the better team won.

Ball fans were disappointed on Saturday at the Senior Division League game between the Filipino Ball Club and the Hong Kon7 Baseball Club, being called off. It was stated that the Hong Kong Båll Club was unable to field a team, and as a result two junior gamer were played. The standard of base ball displayed by the juniors was disappointing.

In the first game, the St. Joseph's erew lost to the Kioraj by 4 to 5 runs. This game was better than the second one when the Young Men's Baseball Association leat to the South China janiors by the overwhelming core of 22 runs
