TROTSKY TO STALIN.
"I DON'T BELIEVE A WORD OF YOURS."
Contrary to
WARBAW. reports in
the
European Press, the antagonism between Stalin, the General Recre tary of the Communiat Executive and Trotsky, the exiled joint founder of the Soviet Republic, has lately assumed a very acute form.
The news has circulated in dip- lomatic circles in Moscow that Stalin recently sent Trotsky, four letters. To the first two he received ao answer. In reply to the third, however, Trotsky, who has appeal- ed to be allowed to return to office in Moscow, laid down several im- possible conditions for his consent to collaborato with the present Soviet Government.
The fourth letter also produced a reply from Trotsky. In this he said that he did not believe.a single word written by Stalin, and would never work in partnership with him.
